Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Pre-Cam Community School! I am honoured to be working in the role of principal in the 2011-2012 school year. I wish everyone a memorable and successful year. At Pre-Cam we are committed to providing the best education to all of our students. We have a balanced program with a strong focus on developing the literacy and numeracy skills of every child.

Along with academics, our staff is committed to providing a safe and secure environment which also fosters the development of the students’ personal character traits such as respect and responsibility.

At Pre-Cam we strive to maintain excellent communication. We have a school newsletter that gets published every week, as well as a school website that can be accessed on-line. To enhance our communication with families, every child has been given an agenda that contains pertinent school information and is expected to be used as a daily communication log.

I encourage parents to get involved in our Pre-Cam School Community Council or the Pre-Cam Parent Council. It takes a community to raise a child and we encourage the community to get involved in our school to help us make every child’s educational experience a successful one. When families become involved in their child's learning, a child's chance of success is increased.

At Pre-Cam Community School students, staff, and community are accepted, valued, and respected. At our school achievement is recognized and celebrated while a professional, supportive, collaborative staff is committed to working together.
